They don't really make longer travel, super light shocks like this anymore. Sids themselves haven't really been the same since boost standard arrived. Is really the only flyweight forks these days. Nevertheless, the 32 is only 100mm, and the larger 34 is a 120mm. Except Fox 34 SC, virtually everything else on the market is 100mm, including Fox Factory and Did.

The updated modern tech just isn't there. Few carbon crowns, almost no carbon steerers, nothing really above 100mm in travel. So, basically, aside from going boost, flyweight fork technology has stagnated imo. The 20 teens were the highpoint for flyweight, longer travel forks imo.

Like for instance all the Fox Factory 32's they made then. There were a lot of nice light forks with plenty of travel. Now, if you want a flyweight fork, your mostly stuck with a 100mm. But Imo, 120 is the new 100mm in forks. Not everybody needs a 1900 or 2000g fork on their bike, just to get travel over 100mm.

Which brings me to my beloved Rock. Sid World Cup XX forks for sale. I never thought I would ever get rid of these forks. They came for everything standard, changing litterally everything overnight. Suddenly the technological focus became how to stabilize a 29 wheel and fork.
