Classic Lightweight RockShox SID Team 2003 Suspension Fork 26 Silver Nice

This is a Rockshox SID Team suspension fork from 2003. This is a great lightweight cross country fork.

It takes 26 wheels with conventional quick release skewers. It has mounts for both rim and disk brakes. This fork has a 1-1/8 straight steerer, 181mm in length, star nut installed. Actual fork weight is 1360g. SID Teams could be set up for 63 or 80mm of travel.

The one is set up for 63mm. The axle to crown distance is 420mmmm.

This fork is fully functional. The stickers were removed for the stealth look and I will include the original Rockshox logos that came with this fork. This is a single-owner fork and it was fastidiously maintained when she was riding it (it has been in storage for several years). It is in nice condition. It compresses and rebounds with no issues. The stanchions are clean, it holds air well and there are no leaks. Cosmetically, this fork is in good condition. The finish is still pure while (not yellowed like some of the old Foxes get). There are marks here and there from glossy with no fading, but does show some light nicks and scratches from casual trail use. Overall, this fork is fully functional and ready for the bike.

My standard advice for all used suspension forks - especially lightweight air units like this - is that it can be ridden but should be serviced somewhat soon.
