2004 Rock Shox SID World Cup Carbon, 1 1/8. Re-listing due to a non-paying winner. Giving it to you honestly and took as many pics as I could to show actual condition of the fork.

So take it for what it's worth. I do have pics with better resolution that the'combined' pics came from. If you need further details of the item. This is a 10yr+ old fork from when they came out in the market.

So know what you are looking at & the purpose of it. It's not a glass trinket that is for decoration that will preserve and last. I never mounted it, so I can't'guarantee' if it has any issues regarding travel and performance. But it does cycle up and down when tested against the ground and pushing by hands with body weight. It cycles smooth with the exception of a little suction/air bubbles feeling.

I think it's cuz of the next description below. The left leg (drive side) is seeping/leaking oil when cycled.

It's not'gushing' out. I just never got around to rebuilding the fork and changing out the oil. The right leg doesn't seem to leak out but the dust wiper is wet after 2wks of just sitting. So I guess it does.

Fork does hold air, but I didn't pay attention to how much I put in and I didn't re-measure the amount that is left after a few weeks. I just know that it's not completely flat. My expectations of an old vintage fork may be different from yours.

So this is why I say this. There are NO dents or dings. The compression/lockout knob works and turns freely. The rebound knob is the same. The original Ti brake bosses are still on it.

I checked with a magnet. The correct expander nut is used for the carbon crown. I took off the caps to where you add air for the positive (pic#7) & negative (pic#12) chambers, so you can see the condition. The obvious wear & tear & scratches on the legs & decals. A few small size chips/wear in the clear coat of the carbon crown.

Small as in smaller than a dime. The dust seals are obviously cracked as by the pics. A small nic on the right (non drive) side stanchion, but it's above the wiper travel. Please look at the pics closely.

Travel = 80mm is what is listed from the RS tech manual. I have more pics, just ask. The item "2004 Rock Shox SID World Cup Carbon, 1 1/8. Vintage, Retro, Classic" is in sale since Saturday, August 26, 2017.
