2001 RockShox SID Fork 26 ELECTRIC BLUE FULL SERVICE VINTAGE

RockShox SID Dual Air 2001 Vintage Fork 26 ELECTRIC BLUE [for GT Zaskar Xizang Lightning]. Famous electric blue colored 2001 SID forks in optical used condition but professionally serviced and since then unridden. This fork is ready to race on your (semi) vintage (neo) Retro Build. PLEASE CHECK THE PICS CAREFULLY FOR OPTICAL CONDITION. Of course the axle mounts are somewhat affected but hardly visible once the front wheel is mounted. The disc brake mount is also used.

This fork is suitable for rim brakes (V-brake / cantilever) as well as disc brake. Check the shafts, they are not scratched at all.

The paint has come off the magnesium legs, which was a common issue with these forks. Decals are pretty intact but new repro's can be obtained. 1 1/8 Steerer, steerer length is approx. Mind this: although this fork is in mint condition, and is holding its air, I strongly advise mounting this fork by a professional. We are talking about a fork over 2 decades old.
