2015 Specialized S-Works Epic WC Carbon 29 Rock Shox SID FOX Brain SRAM Large Frameset. If you are looking at this bike, then you already know that the Epic is possibly the best XC dual suspension bike design of all time as well as a World Champion! Over the years, Specialized has continually evolved and improved their design. This 2015 World Cup (WC) represents the latest design and incorporates highlights like dual water bottle mounting, optional SWAT mounting, single chain ring only frame and swing arm design just to name a few. This bike was custom built one year ago and ridden once or twice per week for roughly six months by a 170 Lb forty something adult male. It spent the entire winter hibernating. Estimated off-road time totals 80 Hrs.
At the beginning of June, both shocks were sent to Specialized for routine service. Upon return, the shocks were reinstalled and taken on a short neighborhood ride to ensure functionality. The bike was then disassembled for this listing. There are signs of use including minor brake hose rub on the inside of the left chain stay (thru the protective tape), a series of scratches on the drive side of the head tube from a low speed tip-over, some scratches near the rear wheel/tire from debris, and a few other nicks from flying rocks in Southern Arizona.
The frame is satin finish over nude carbon so it is hard to spot minor imperfections. See pics for cosmetic details. Overall, the frameset is in excellent condition. Fit is your responsibility, so please visit your local Specialized dealer if you are unsure. I estimate that the size range for this Large as 5'11" through 6'2" with some exceptions. RockShox SID World Cup 29 Brain, Solo Air spring, tapered carbon crown/steerer, top-mount Brain Fade and rebound adj. 1-1/8 and 1-1/2" threadless, Campy style upper with 1-1/2" lower, cartridge bearings. S-Works carbon, 20mm offset, 27.2mm, 400mm long. Specialized 7050 hard anodized alloy, single bolt, 31.8mm.
