2003 ROCKSHOX SID WORLD CUP FORK, CARBON STEERER, 1316g ONLY, SUPERB CONDITION. It's my pleasure to offer for sale a 2003 Rockshox SID World Cup dual air fork for a 26 wheel bike.

This was Rockshox's top of the line xc/race fork at the time. It has a carbon steerer tube and 28mm stanchions.

Weight on my digital scales is a featherlight 1316g. It has 80mm of travel which can be reduced to 63mm with the appropriate spacer (not included). Features include Climb-it compression lockout and rebound adjustment. It has IS disc brake mounts in addition to V-brake mounting bosses (neatly blanked off with the original rubber plugs). Also included in the sale is the original expander plug for the carbon steerer tube which was supplied from new.

Please note that the crown race shown in the photos has been removed and is not included in the sale (as it's part of the headset). The steerer tube is straight 1 1/8 diameter and 178mm long. It is fully functional and in exceptional virtually unmarked condition having barely been used.

The Rockshox decals have developed some hairline cracks with age, but other than that it's pretty much as it left the factory. This was originally fitted to the S-Works M5 frame that is listed for sale in one of my other listings. I've included plenty of photos which hopefully give an accurate representation of the condition. Please study them in detail as they form an important part of the item description.
